This is the first official family photo after we found out we were pregnant.  Thanks Tanya for taking it!  I had my first doctor's appointment last Wednesday and found out our due date is June 2, 2009.  From our medical history I am considered a low risk pregnancy so that is reassuring. 

Everyone at the office was incredibly nice and actually we haven't even met the doctor yet.  We were with the nurse and physician's assistant.  They both asked multiple times if we had any questions and pretty much answered any questions that we might have had even before we had a chance to ask.  We received a ton of free magazines and other free stuff.  They even gave us a nice binder of information that the hospital puts together.

It was too early to hear the heartbeat so we have to wait until our next appointment on Nov. 20.  They said that no news is good news about the blood work and other tests and so far there has been no news. 

Trick-or-treating was tonight.  We didn't get as many kids as we thought we would so needless to say we have plenty of candy.  Our coworkers will love us tomorrow.  Since we pretty much already celebrated Halloween we probably won't have another post so Happy  Halloween to everyone!!

We did end up carving out pumpkins tonight.  It was a lot of fun and everyone was able to help.  Lauren loved digging out the seeds and getting her hands all slimy.  We had to carve the pumpkins today or tomorrow because trick-or-treating is tomorrow night here in West Bend.  Weird, I know!! 

Our candle went out before we could get a picture of our finished product so I will try to get one tomorrow night and post another blog.

Bill, Tanya, and Lauren came up to visit so we decided to go to a pumpkin farm to get pumpkins and then carve them (this will be a separate post).  We decided to stay close and go to the Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm in West Bend. 

They had pumpkins, animals, a haunted corn maze, and much more.  We looked at the animals and picked out pumpkins but didn't want to do the haunted corn maze.
