I am now officially 12 weeks along.  We had our second doctor's appointment and were able to hear the heartbeat for the first time.  She quickly found the heartbeat and said it was about 160 bpm.  Our next appointment will be in 4 weeks and then about 3 weeks after that we will have an ultrasound.  My blood pressure is fairly low as always and I have not gained any weight yet.  I can tell that my stomach is starting to get a little bigger but most everyone else cannot.  I asked the doctor if I was still considered low risk because of the hyperthyroid and she said yes so that is comforting.

Monday it snowed for the first time this winter.  It melted when it hit the roads so when it started getting dark and the temperature dropped it became ice.  It was not a very fun drive home for me, but luckily I was only about 4 miles from home when the roads turned to ice.  It did take me 30 minutes to go those four miles though.  The new car handled it well, so that is all that matters. :)

The picture is taken from our patio door out to the backyard.  As you can see we didn't get a lot of snow but enough to stick to the grass.

Last weekend we went to our friend's, Nick and Katie, wedding reception.  They actually got married on a cruise and decided to do a drink and hor' devours reception.  The food was amazing and the place where they had it was beautiful.  It overlooked a small lake but unfortunately it was freezing so we didn't go outside to walk around. 

We were bad friends and didn't get a picture of the couple but we did get a few of Bill, Tanya, Lauren, and ourselves.
