We think we created a hybrid lily.  We have a few yellow lily plants in the front of the house.  In between two of them is a deep maroon lily.  Well, this year we have a new plant that is yellowish in the center and maroonish on the petals.  Neither one of us remember seeing it there before so we think the other two plants had a baby. 

Mark got some music recording equipment for Christmas and his birthday.  These pictures show his set up which include a keyboard he had as a kid, the computer including monitors (birthday gift from Phil, Sue, Lillian, and I), and guitar stand.

Mark made the guitar stand out of PVC and then spray painted it black.  I think it turned out great.  Jeff was kind enough to get him a bass guitar for his birthday and a microphone for Christmas .

We went grocery shopping tonight and they had large strawberries.  We decided to get them so that we could make chocolate covered strawberries.  We had a little assembly line going on where I dried the strawberries and Mark dipped them. 

Shortly after we moved into the house we decided that we wanted to a few plants to the landscaping.  There were very few plants around the house so we added a few hostas, lilies, a rhododendron, and a few other plants.  I also took a few pictures to show the back yard and the nice barrier that the previous owners put in about 3 years ago.  Just like last year we decided to do a few pots of flowers.  Once again we used the miracle grow potting soil and the plants look awesome!

After three years of talking about getting new couches we finally did.  We ended up getting England brand which is part of Lay-Z-Boy.  The color is passion suede peate and the style is Peyton.
