There have been several things going on since the last blog, considering it was written an eternity ago.
My grandma and Steve got married at Weldon Springs and my dad and I went down to Clinton, IL to help grandma move into her "new" house. It was an extremely hot day but we had a great time meeting the new family.
We have been working on our home. We wired in a few more lights in the theatre room and have been going through all of our stuff in the basement. It brings back memories going back through childhood and college things. It's also amazing the stuff you find that has been missing for ages. We want to finish the entire basement with a rec room and our main office (which we will need if we ever want any little ones).
April and I are working on getting the wedding planned. Actually, April is the planner and I am the smile and nodder (if there is such a thing). She went with my mom to purchase her dress today.
We have had a serious drought here and finally have gotten a few showers in the last week. I haven't mowed in over a month and now it finally is about time to do that, now that our yard is almost completely weeds...the only thing that survived this classified "severe drought".
I have been neglecting putting up pictures for a nice while now. I have several pictures, but I have been too lazy to put them up (noone seems to believe the "I don't have enough time" excuse)
Jeff (my bro) has announced that he is officially going to King College in Tenessee. It's a pretty short drive at 12 hours. I should have gone to more games when he was up in LaCrosse.
I am sure that I have left several things out, but I am sure April will follow up with the details that I missed. Later.
