July 2007 Entries

Jeff got new golf clubs for his birthday so he wanted to go to the driving range to try them out.  I took my camera Mark and Jeffso I could take a few pictures. Jeff's clubs

Afterwards, we were thinking about going biking, but instead decided to go to Dairy Haus.  It was pretty good, but nothing compared to the ice cream shop we ate at in Arlington, MA.  That ice cream was like heaven.  hehe

We were walking out of Dairy Haus and saw Colleen.  We hadn't seen her in a very long time so it was really nice chatting.  I think we stood there and talked to her for about an hour.

My sister and her boyfriend, Dave, are supposed to be visiting this weekend.  I sure hope that it works out, especially since my mom wasn't able to make it last weekend.

My mom was planning on coming up this weekend but something happened to her car and she wasn't able to come.  I was pretty upset because we haven't seen her since May and she hasn't been up here since our wedding.  We had already planned on going to IKEA and Woodfield Mall and Michele was going to meet up with us.

Since we already had it planned we decided to still go even though my mom and sister weren't going to be here.  We had a great time hanging out with Michele!  Sad but true, we hadn't seen her since we got married.  :(  HORRIBLE I KNOW!!!

Full ViewWell, we ended up buying new lamps, new end tables, and a new coffee table for the living room. We plan on eventually getting new couches, putting in hardwood floor, and adding bookshelves.  Even with the small change of new end tables and getting rid of the college lamps the room looks a lot better.

The small square lamps on the end tables were two for $12.99!!!  Can you believe you can buy lamps for that cheap?!?!?!

After getting back from Schaumburg we went over to Mark's parents house for dinner and to see how Jeff was feeling since he got his wisdom teeth taken out on Friday.  He seems to be doing exceptionally well.

After leaving, we went home and put together out new stuff.  About anything you buy from IKEA, you have to put together yourself.  It was easy but took awhile.

We have slowly been working on getting the rest of the pictures from our trip online.  Mark has added a few of the Freedom Trail pictures for you to look at.  I have tried to label them so you will know what you are looking at, and enjoy our trip with us.  hehe

We have been busy catching up with work and house work.  This weekend we went biking both Satuday and Sunday.  We went to a friends party on Saturday night and had Mark's family over for fajitas on Sunday night.

I think my mom and Kaitlin are coming this weekend so I'm pretty excited about that.  I haven't seen them since my mom's birthday in May!!  We are most likely going to go into Schaumburg to Woodfield and IKEA and possibly go to Magic Waters on Sunday.

I thought I should write a blog so I looked through the pictures and found a few flowers.  We are really happy with our landscaping this year.  Our flowers are really adding a little "something" to the yard. Potted Plants Daisy  Petunia Beautiful Blue Flower

I have uploaded pictures from my camera.  Take a look at our sneak preview.  :)  I took pictures of the Fenway Park tour, a few from our camping trip up to Franconia Notch in New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and the Samuel Adams Tour.  Laura has also already uploaded some pictures of Fenway Park and Franconia Notch so you can see hers too.

My parents decided to make another attempt at a dog, and the dog they got, Hank, is a Vizsla.  He has proven to be a very mild mannered, cute puppy.  Enough talk, how about some picture goodness,
