Lillian Renee was born at 9:28 am on June 3, 2009. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is an amazing baby! She hardly ever cries and when she is awake she is very alert. We absolutely love her!
Labor started about 12:30 am on the 3rd with contractions about 10 minutes apart. They started getting stronger and closer together so we headed to the hospital. Shortly after being admitted I received a “walking epidural” which was a life saver! I really had no pain from the contractions or the delivery. I only had to push for around an hour. She cried immediately and received 9’s on both Apgar tests.
Grandpa and Grandma Baylor, as well as Uncle Jeff came to visit in the hospital.
Overall, we had a great experience welcoming Lillian into this world. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. They even offered to take our first family photo.
